MODEL UN WINS 13 AWARDS AT GSU

The FSAPS Model UN team won 13 awards at the GSU MUN competition, including a team award for Distinguished Delegation.







Last week, the FSAPS Model UN team traveled to Statesboro, GA to compete in the 34th Annual Georgia Southern Middle School Model United Nations competition. The team this year has a total of 32 students, many of whom had never competed or been involved in Model U.N. before. Ms. Pruett, Mr. Stiffler, and Mrs. Campbell are so excited to announce that our team won 13 awards at this competition, including Distinguished Delegation as a team.

Below are the different councils that students served on as well as the country they represented and the recognition each received:

General Assembly

Human Rights Council

Russia Sanjeev Uppaluri Outstanding Delegate

The team now has to quickly turn around and prepare for their next competition on November 20th at Centennial High School.
