FSAPS Middle School-War Eagle Math Teams had a successful and fun-filled workshop at FSAPS campus on Thursday from 4:45 pm until 9:00 pm in order to prepare for the challenging 7th annual War Eagle Math Tournament that took place on Saturday, Nov 7th 2015 at South Forsyth High School. Our Mighty Math Mustangs planned to participate at the 7th Annual War Eagle Math Competition on Saturday Nov 7th with one team in the Middle School Division & three teams in the Accelerated Division.
At the workshop, our teams discussed released War Eagle Math Competition questions from earlier years that provoke and cultivate their critical thinking skills. Mathletes had excellent & dynamic discussions on advanced level math topics and concepts. We had delicious food & snacks! During one of our breaks, one of our young 7th grade mathlete, Holden Watson, gave us a little concert.
FSAPS Mathletes had lots of fun playing in the Jim and the sweetest end of the workshop! We loved the ice-cream treat of Mrs. Karen Boyd (Holden’s Mom)!
