Fulton Science Academy Pre-K and Kindergarten students visited Farmer Sue and her fabulous Art Barn on Thursday, October 15th. All the kids participated in a hayride, had a tutorial on the life cycle of the chicken (from egg to adult), learned all about beekeeping and pollination, had a picnic lunch, went on a run to capture a pumpkin to take home, and created a painting of a hen while relaxing in the beautiful sunshine! However, the BEST part about visiting the Art Barn was learning about and interacting with all of the rescued animals on the farm. From baby chicks to donkeys, this farm has friendly animals in all shapes and sizes! We thank Farmer Sue very much for the wonderful day.
