FSA Math MUSTANGs Getting Ready for ROCKDALE MATH TOURNAMENT
FSAPS Middle School-Rockdale Math Teams had a productive and fun-filled workshop at FSAPS campus on Friday, October 30th from 4:45 pm until 7:30 pm in order to prepare for the challenging 11th annual Rockdale Math Tournament that took place on Saturday, Oct 31st, 2015. Our Mighty Math Mustangs planned to participate at the 11th Annual Rockdale Math Competition on Saturday October 31st with two teams at each Middle School & Junior Varsity Divisions.
At the workshop, our teams discussed released Rockdale Math Competition questions from earlier years that provoked and nurtured their critical thinking skills in addition to mini mock competitions. Our teams had excellent & productive discussions on advanced level math topics and concepts. We had delicious food & snacks and played in the gym!
