In Soccer Club for Middle School, we have been working on the basics of how the game is played. We have looked at passing and overhead throws into the game. This week we will be looking at a more complex move called a “give and go.” A “give and go” is where you have two offending players and one defending player. The offending players are set up where one is dribbling the ball straight toward the goal. The defending player is moving toward the offending player from the goal. The first offending player passes to the left or right to the teammate, and the second offending player passes back to the first offending player moving around the defensive player. We are working on this move individually and in game play.
