“Day of the Dead/Dia de los muertos” Festival at the Atlanta History Center
On Sunday, Nov. 1st the Atlanta History Center held their annual “The Day of the Dead Festival”. The Day of the Dead is a special celebration in Mexico held on Nov. 2nd. This festivity has a rich history which embraces Mexican culture and tradition. On this day, Mexico honors their loved ones that have passed and celebrates their lives.
The students that attended had a great time. There was food, music, traditional Mexican dances, art exhibits and vendors.
