FSAPS Math Team did a spectacular job on Saturday, Nov 7th during the War Eagle Math Competition at South Forsyth High School in the Middle School and Accelerated Divisions. We had three teams in the Accelerated Division and one team in the Middle School Division. Two of our four FSAPS teams placed first!! Isn’t that amazing? J Congratulations to all FSAPS Mathletes that participated at this competition!
FSAPS Accelerated Team A received 1st place in the Accelerated Division among all small and large middle schools! Accelerated Team-A members are Holden Watson, Charlie Furniss, Vishaal Ram and Tyler Hecht.
FSAPS Middle School Team A received 1st place in the Middle School Division! Middle School Team A members are Mario Machado, Amrita Kaur, Ian Broni, and George Wen.
These victories came on the heel of our successes during the Rockdale Math Competition. FSAPS Middle School Junior Varsity Math Team A had just received first place as a team at Rockdale Math Competition on Saturday Oct 31st!
Individual Placements @ 7th Annual War Eagle Competition are as follows:
Holden Watson – 1st place in Accelerated Division
Charlie Furniss – 2nd place in Accelerated Division
Tyler Hecht – 8th place in Accelerated Division
Andre Hamelberg – 11th place in Accelerated Division
