Fulton Science Academy Private School is pleased to announce 2nd Annual MATHGENIUSES,

 a challenging Math Competition for all elementary and middle school students in Georgia.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

 The competition is open to all Georgia students in 1st grade through 8th grade.

WHAT IS THE ENTRANCE FEE?

There is a $15 entrance fee per student. This fee includes lunch and MathGeniuses t-shirt.

The entrance fee will be paid during the day of the event.

   

WHAT IS THE COMPETITION FORMAT?

The format of the competition is written multiple choice test.

Students will be given one hour to solve advanced level math problems.

  

WHAT ARE THE COMPETITION LEVELS?

 1st Level - 1st & 2nd Grades

 2nd Level - 3rd & 4th Grades

3rd Level - 5th & 6th Grades

4th Level - 7th & 8th Grades

SCHEDULE

10:30 - 10:50 Registration

11:00 - 11:50 Mathgeniuses Test

11:50 - 12:30 Lunch & Review of the Qestions

   

WHAT ARE THE AWARDS?

 In addition to recognition and bragging rights, winners will receive the following AWARDS:

       Winning Students in Each Level              Teacher of Winning Student in Each Level
1^st Place – 1^st Place Medal & $50 Award           1^st Place – 1^st Place Certificate & $50 Award
2^nd Place – 2^nd Place Medal & $40 Award         2^nd Place – 2^nd Place Certificate & $40 Award
3^rd Place – 3^rd Place Medal & $30 Award          3^rd Place – 3^rd Place Certificate & $30 Award

Winners will be announced online the same day at www.mathgeniuses.org. 

 An e-mail with detailed results will also be sent to all participants the same day.

The award ceremony for winners will be held on Sunday, December 15 at 6:00PM at FSA.

It is required to attend award ceremony to receive cash awards.

 Additionally, winners in each grade will be awarded with ribbons and all participants will be given MathGeniuses certificates and t-shirts.
