Students in 2nd grade are learning all about Economics during our unit in Social Studies. Throughout the week, students were challenged with a variety of real-world application of their economics concepts. One of the favorites was a visit to the Mall of Econ-O-Mania! Students were given $300.00 to spend.... but $200.00 MUST be spent on items that they need in order to live. Working with their partners, students loved the challenge of reaching their $300.00 spending limit and choosing items that they really wanted to buy!
