K-8 Math Competition
for Math Geniuses
Fulton Science Academy Private School is pleased to announce MATHGENIUSES,
a challenging Math Competition for elementary and middle school students.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
The competition is open to kindergarten through 8th grade students that want
to test their math skills against some of Georgia's best math students.
WHEN?
Saturday, March 23rd, 2013
from 11:00am to 1:00pm

WHAT IS THE ENTRANCE FEE?
There is a $5 entrance fee per student. This fee includes lunch during the event.
The entrance fee will be paid during the day day of the event.
WHAT IS THE COMPETITION FORMAT?
The format of the competition is written multiple choice test.
Students will be given one hour to solve advanced level math problems.
There are four competition levels:
1st Level - Kindergarten & 1st Grades
2nd Level - 2nd & 3rd Grades
3rd Level - 4th & 5th Grades
4th Level - 6th through 8th Grades
WHAT WILL THE WINNERS RECEIVE?
In addition to recognition and bragging rights, winners will receive the following AWARDS:
Winning Students in Each Level Teacher of Winning Student in Each Level
1st Place – 1st Place Medal & $100 Award 1st Place – 1st Place Certificate & $100 Award
2nd Place – 2nd Place Medal & $75 Award 2nd Place – 2nd Place Certificate & $75 Award
3rd Place – 3rd Place Medal & $50 Award 3rd Place – 3rd Place Certificate & $50 Award
Additionally, winners in each grade will be awarded with ribbons.
